Senior Night - Save the Date - 9/22

Senior Parents,


Each season the CHS varsity soccer program hosts “senior night” recognizing not only the athletes accomplishments but also the parents commitment to the program. This year the event is scheduled to take place the night of the Thornapple-Kellogg match. Here are the particulars:

• Event: Senior Night – Athletes and Parent(s)
• Date: Thursday, September 22nd
• Time: Parents to arrive by 6:15pm
• Location: CHS soccer stadium in front of the concession stand

Each of your senior athletes will be given a handout in the next couple of days to complete identifying thing such as years in the program, significant accomplishments (both academically and athletically) and post high school plans.

Please save the date and make sure you pass the word to friends and family. This is a great way to honor all the hard work that each of our senior athletes have put into making the program successful both on and off the pitch.

P.S. it’s ok if your senior athlete has not finalize their post-high school plan, just say “undecided”…we have to remember they are 17-18 years old and shouldn’t expect too much from them until they are at least 25, so Lori (my wife) keeps telling me…something about their frontal lobe not being fully developed…
